Eye catching restaurant food photography and videography is so important in this over-saturated social media world. You have to stay ahead and constantly create engaging content to bring customers to your door. We help our clients to market and promote their businesses by creating a range of stand-out images.
Two of our recent clients to work with were Toby Carvery and Stonehouse Restaurants. We loved working with them on their Christmas and January content. Not only because they were a lovely team to work with but also because who doesn’t like roast, puddings and a glass of bubbly ? We certainly do, because food photography is not only our profession, it’s also a true passion.
Christmas Restaurant Photography and Videography for Stonehouse Restaurants
The day started at their Luton Branch. The brief was great value for money, tasty food and a lovely Christmas feel. They really want to showcase the quality and freshness of food while being affordable yet delicious.
We brought with us our own backdrops, loads of festive lights and props as well as our cameras, lights and a couple of small reflectors to make sure the food and the Christmas feel is as good and as inviting as possible. Normally we would avoid propping too heavily, as we always think the food should do the talking, not the other way around.
Then of course, we we ate a lot roasted veggies and gravy and roasted potatoes, and burgers and desserts…… It’s a hard life being a food photographer.
We also did a few action shots, nothing brings food to life like people eating and enjoying it.
Here are some of the food videos from the day. We’ve produced a mix of food gifs, cinematographs and reels.
Restaurant Photography and Videography for Toby Carvery
The shoot took place at their Birmingham restaurant, so it was an early start for us (4am!). We are early risers anyway and we love a road trip. We travel all over UK for our clients, but can also work from our studio too. We can even help with recipe development!
The brief for the day was minimal props, real food, loads of flavour and deliciousness that the whole family can enjoy. The restaurant itself had a lovely cosy feel, but we brought with us extra lighting to ensure the images are bright and inviting.
Here are some of the images from the day. We have loved working with Toby Carvery and can’t wait for the next shoot.
To keep your restaurant food photos interesting and engaging we always try to capture different images from different angles and in lots of different ways!
