We recently had the fantastic opportunity to dive into the world of amazing dishes at the Star Inn in Ingatestone, Essex who were looking for a food photographer specialising in restaurant photography, food product, restaurant food, as well as website and social media content images.
Armed with our cameras, lights and a passion for all things food, we went to capture the essence of their menu, signature dishes, and the festive cheer of their Christmas offerings.

First things first, we played food stylist extraordinaire! Every dish was freshly cooked to our order and then styled by us to perfection, ensuring that each plate looked as good as it tastes. From the sizzling steaks, hearty roasts to the sweetest desserts we arranged and garnished with love and precision.

Then came the fun part – the photoshoot! With the click of a button, we captured the culinary masterpieces in all their glory. The colours, textures, and flavours jumping out of the photos making the potential clients and customers wanting to reach through the screen and take a bite or simply make a reservation.
Now that we have photographed the dishes, we start editing… we fine-tuned each image to make the vibrant hues pop and the textures stand out. The result? A visual feast that perfectly mirrored the fantastic experience of dining at the Star Inn. All of this done in one day. Styled, photographed and edited.
